Deník Referendum, in cooperation with partner magazine Green European Journal, is organizing an international panel on Wednsday, October 30 in prostor39, Prague, on the role of European media in relation to the climate crisis.
What is the role of the media in Europe in communicating the climate crisis? What needs to be changed? And how can this be achieved?
The panel will include:
Bas Eickhout, Dutch MEP for GroenLinks, co-spitzencandidate in the last European elections
Markéta Gregorová, Czech MEP for Česká pirátská strana, member of the EP Committee on International Trade
Aude Massiot, journalist from the international desk of the French daily Libération
Josef Patočka, climate reporter of Deník Referendum and co-founder of the initiative Limity jsme my
The debate will be moderated by:
Zuzana Vlasatá, reporter and deputy editor-in-chief of Deník Referendum

Both the panel and the debate are open to the public. Entrance is free, the language is English. The event is part of the 10th birthday celebrations of the Deník Referendum. It takes place in prostor39, Řehořova 33 in Prague 3, from 6 pm. The capacity is 60 seats, so we recommend you to arrive in time.
